Virtual Reality (VR) refers to the use of technology to access a simulated environment. The three-dimensional environment can be experienced through devices such as specially designed goggles. Despite being artificial, VR allows the user to have an experience that feels very realistic.
Meditating in VR poses multiple benefits. Most prominently, meditating in VR makes it easier to give in to the meditation practice and disconnect from outside distractions.

“Wonderful! Exactly what I was looking for. An escape in nature's most beautiful REAL (no fake cartoon) environments. Such a wonderful way to wake up in the morning or take a break at any point. I give a lot of training, almost every day and for the moment they are all on Zoom. It's very exhausting and I needed some way to escape this long, grey winter of confinement, Flow VR is pure bliss. It's the reason why I bought the Oculus. One of the training sessions I give is about how to build resilience and avoid burnout. During my research for these training sessions I read about the soothing effect of VR nature in prisons and I thought if it works in prison, it should work during confinement - so far I love it! In the future, I would love to be able to use it with my own music. I've already started talking about it in my classes and when we get back to live training I will do VR meditations during my classes, I do believe it really increases the likelihood of people taking up a regular practice. Great job! Brigitte Lipschutz, executive coach and trainer.”
